Orange Dogwood Coaster

All fused glass pieces are crafted in Gatlinburg, Tennessee by artist Kimberly Bylo. This coaster was made with powdered enamel that was sifted onto the glass first. After the coaster was dusted with enamel the artist rakes the design into the glass, as if drawing in sand. The glass piece is then heated to a tack fuse around 1450 degrees, setting the enamel.
